24PFL3507T/12.....PROBLEMS WITH THIS TV - HELP!

.....having problems with this TV. When I am trying to browse the internet...it says SERVER NOT AVAILABLE...I can watch YOUTUBE ok...my Router is fine, and the TV is informing me, that I have a connection! I have up todate software installed on the TV...and PTA01/00 Wireless USB Adapter. Also downloaded Media Manager from the Philips website....as I understand that Wifi Conncect does not work with 2012 models. I have also tried turning firewalls OFF on my PC. I cannot browse the internet or, access files from my computer to the TV.

Please can you rectify the promblem as soon as possible, and send me details on how to fix this problem....I have also looked on your forum for answers...but cannot find a solution!

Hope to hear from you soon! It is driving me nuts:mad:, trying to rectify this problem.

it's not clear, what do you want to do and what does not work. Please state, where do you get this error message (where in the TV GUI)...

Hello Toengel....thank you for your quick response. Whoop I think I now have it working....on remote I click on HOME button and then BROWSE NETWORK...I can now view my FOLDERS...PICTURES, VIDEOS, & LISTEN TO MUSIC. Just wondering now Toengel, can I connect to FACEBOOK with this TV model?

Can't believe I now have it working...after a week of trying...

Does this model have internet access? I have a friend that has smart tv, and can send emails?

Hi,

there are differnet Internet "options" on the different Philips TV series... the 3xx7 series only has YouTube, 4xx7 and up has NetTV and many Apps...

Oh what a shame, perhaps in the future Philips will do a software update on the 3xx7 and include other apps....and more internet options.
