View Full Version : Uitzending Gemist content unplayable, who to notify?

Maybe it is my TV, 42pfl8694, maybe my network, but other content plays file, but for example
Tegenlicht: California (7 nov) does not play, or plays couple of minutes, then doesn't play (black screen) , retried even after power off (side button) and it won't even play again.

Where to inform or who to notify, or maybe others can check if it plays to know if it is my gear at fault.

I have tried it, it is completely playing without problems. (by the way, it’s a good documentary).
Make sure your internet connection is OK, perhaps check if other users in your network do not claim to much capacity of your internet connection.

We also have trouble with Uitzending Gemist, usually in the hours between 18:00 and 22:00. We live in the UK and I suspect that sometimes our problem is due to not enough internet bandwidth during the busy hours. Sometimes a programme will start and then completely stop, other times it will pause frequently. However, if I watch a high-def programme on BBC iPlayer, it will usually stream smoothly when we have problems with UG, so it is not always down to bandwidth.
I have not yet tried watching the same programme on the UG website to see if that suffers the same problem during the busy hours, but I will try that next time.

Uitzending Gemist doesn't work at all on my new bluray-player BDP8000. At first I was able to start the app, but videos wouldn't play. After some days a cross appeared in the app and when I try to start it up, I get a message that some features of Uitzendinggemist aren't compatible with my device. Come on Philips, this is one of your latest NetTV devices. What's going on? I chose this bluray-player because it promised to have the Uitzending Gemist feature.
Other video services like RTL Gemist work perfectly. Please explain and solve the problem.

Hi,

I had also such problems with the Cross. I solved that be removing the app from my favorites and after that, I re-added them...
