Started with a black line at the lower part and now most of the image is lost...only the top bit is seen. Can anyone help?

I would advise you to contact your local customer service (http://www.support.philips.com/support/catalog_selector.jsp?COOKIE=off). Please have model number, serial number and date of purchase ready when calling them.
