What does the model number tell?

For 2012 models, we have adopted a new naming scheme for Home Theatre System. Please find below more details:

First 3 letters:
HTS = Home Theater System
HTD = Home Theater DVD system
HTB = Home Theater Blu-ray system
HTL = Home Theater Loud speaker (no playback, just speaker) HTM = Home Theater Loud speaker with media playback

Second number: series
HT?3xxx = Series 3 (more to the entry level) HT?5xxx = Series 5 HT?7xxx = Series 7 HT?9xxx = Series 9 (flagship models)

Second number: number of speakers
HT?x1xx = 1.1 system
HT?x2xx = 2.1 system
HT?x5xx = 5.1 system

Last 1 or 2 letters:
D = come with docking cradle
K = karaoke
DK = docking cradle and karaoke
O = orange (color code --> coming next) G = green (color code --> coming next)

Additional info: fourth number
HT?xxx0 or HT?xxx5 = basic version
HT?xxx1- HT?xxx4 or HT?xxx6- HT?xxx9 = derived version
