I'm wondering why the other topics are closed, because now I look retarded for opening a new topic with the same purpose.
Anyways,
I just registered on this forum to tell philips that they fail for not implementing subtitle-support. I know most people are ignorant and just buy stuff because of the marketing. Yes, marketing helps. However I bought a Toshiba TV that has this option... Toshiba, I say,... Toshiba. My brother bought a Philips TV 2k11 and the lack is just disturbing:
1/ Subtitle support is unknown.
2/ Also "resume video" option. You always need to restart the movie from the start and fast forward with 4x (maximum) which takes a while...
3/ And "go to xx:xx" to travel faster in a movie is missing.
I'm not going to ask why philips fails at implementing these basic simple options. Everybody has his own theory. But it sucks and fails and the truth is, you're not getting good marketing out of this.
