I just purchased a sa3ara16k/02 player.
there's no bookmarking capability for plain mp3 files (just for audible ones).
And to make things really worse, the fast forward speed is constant, which means tha not only an mp3 audiobook can't be resumed by bookmarking it, but to manually skip, say 30 minutes, takes minutes.
What made you think the equation "legal audiobooks"=audible.com was acceptable. Never heard of public libraries cd or public domain audio books (http://librivox.org/).
I'm so sorry because this is a otherwise really fine product.
