DS9800w blinking green

My DS9800w were working like a dream. Now, all of a sudden, they have started blinking green... I tried all the usual resets, but no luck...

I can't even update to the latest firmware, because you need a green status for that...

Anyone has any suggestions on this? Is it time to return these speakers and give up on Airplay all together?
