This is how they respond to complaints, with generic messages, brief history is i ordered an item, they charged me they then refunded stating out of stock and then with held my funds for 8 days. So now i am having to look else where even when i placed the order in november!

Thank you for your email in reagrds to the order you placed with Philips Online Shop, I am sorry to learn of your disappointment.
I can confirm that when an order is placed we do not actually debit your account, we merely place a hold on the funds. Once the order has been despatched we then debit the appropriate amount. In the case of your order we have placed a hold on the PayPal funds and once it became apparent that we were out of stock we released that hold. I can confirm that this has taken place.
I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this will have caused and appreciate that with Christmas approaching you need to source an alternative.
