BDP3380 Blue Ray 3D not playing sound

I recently purchased this blue ray player, and have successfully watched a dvd, however, tonight I tried playing the movie 'The Green Hornet', and although it displayed video, it was not playing any sound. i could not work out what the problem is. I noticed some other Phillip Blue Ray Players had issues with certain Blue Rays, especially those with DTS. Could this be the issue? does it not recognise certain Blue Ray's? .appreciate if anyone can assist.

Today, I got it playing standard Blue Rays, but it does not play sound in 3 D. Would anyone know why??

how do you output the audio? Via TV? Which TV? How are the connections? What did you setup in the audio configuration?
