cannot change channel names on 32pfl3517h/12

I have a 32pfl3517h/12 tv and some of the channel names show up wrong, while others don't show up at all. There doesn't seem to be an option to rename the channel names, though the manual says it should be possible. I have the most recent software.

I mailed Philips customer care, but the guy there didn't know anything about the tv, he could read the standard answer he had in front of him, which was wrong, but wasn't able to provide any further info. Hope someone here can give some real advise.

The problem is related to the CI+-certification by Ziggo, as indeed stated by Philips Consumer Care. Ziggo claims they have nothing to do with it, which is not true.

When installing the channels, the TV asks for a country and a provider, in my case Netherlands and Ziggo. When I choose Ziggo, the functions I mention are removed from the list. By choosing "other" as my provider, I have the full options as stated in the manual.

This workaround worked OK for the analog channels I am using. Since I do not have a CI+-module I could not test wether it also works for the digital channels.
