Hi everyone,

I got a Philips GoGear Ariaz 8GB (SA4ARA08KF) for my birthday last week. It turned out that in some menus some of the keys did not function right (e.g. I couldnīt regulate the volume and the radio did not function according to the manual).
Following the manual I installed the latest Songbird version on my PC and repaired my player.
With succes: everything functions like it should except for one thing. Each time I connect the player to my PC or I switch it off and on, the language turns into Czech (I think itīs Czech). I know how to change it to English or Dutch, but I donīt want to do this again and again.

Does anyone know the solution?

Thanks and regards,

Marjanne

I have just got a SA4VBE08KN/12 and have updated the firmware via songbird.

I have put a dozen or so albums onto it BUT when playing and album via folder or album view the tracks of the folder/album play at random. Now I have checked that random is turned off. The only way to play tracks in the correct order is to create a playlist for each album - crazy!!!!!

Please can anyone confirm if this is "normal" or is my unit faulty???

Thanks.
