Front speakers no longer working on a WAS7500

So I turn on my WAS7500, out comes some sound but it's deep bass and little definition, proved it could only be the rear/bottom speakers, there's no sound coming out of the flat panel front speakers.

Anyone know anthing about this sort of problem? Is it an easy fix, by an amateur with a multi-meter and a soldering iron? Can I obtain a service manual from somewhere?

I can't see the point in having it repaired, it's just not cost effective, so want to have a go myself.
