Custom Firmware information

Hi All ,

I bought a Smart TV from Philips that is not so smart as I tought . So I would link to create a custom firmware to TV to allow my computer access the USB drive connect at it . Could be SMB/CIFS , FTP or any other network transfer protocol .
So could someone tell me what is the Linux source that is compile to the Philips Smart TV ?

It is really hard to have to copy the movies to USB drive at computer to see subtittles movies . I have a mediatomb transcode server but there is a lot of customization to get all in place and working with subtitles .

if anyone have any clue , I woul appreciated .

Basically, I understand your envy to get the sources, as Philips is really slow at reacting, and these reactions are not at all what we can expect from a technical point of view ...
I remembered reading somewhere (in manual ?) that there was an email address to contact to get access to the sources. However, I doubt that you will get all sources, and that you will be able to flash a homemade firmware on the TV easily. :(
