SB379830/Za Connecting a PC problem

Hello guys,

I got this Philips Cineos SB379030/Za television and im trying to connect a PC using the DVI input of the TV and the DVI input of the PC. The only problem is that I dont see anything at all on the TV. I tried to set the source of the DVI channel but no result at all.

What I also tried to do is to connect the TV-PC using DVI and the pc to a monitor using VGA and this way actually works. So when the computer is started up i got screen on my TV and i disconnect the monitor from the PC and it still works. When i try to restart the computer using just the DVI of the TV/PC fails.

So my problem is that I dont have any screen using just the PC/TV.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi Patrickv.

Could you please confirm the model number and software version installed on your tv?

Have you made sure that the PC is sending the video signals through the DVI to the TV? Seems like your PC trying to send through VGA (as that works fine).

I really don't know the software version which is currently installed on my TV.

But how can i change the options of the PC so that the PC will send through DVI instead of VGA?
