Hello,
i have Philips LCD 42PF9731D/10. I want to upgrade my firmware. I have tried with 3 different USB and it doesn't want to upgrade. I have try to format them on FAT and also on FAT32.
On USB there is only autorun.upg file and nothing more (there aren't any folders in USB)
I have read all instructions and it still don't want to upgrade.
What could be wrong?
try it with manual method:
- create a folder "upgrades"
- put autorun.upg in this folder
- press menu - setup - software update - local update

On webpage there is that FIRMWARE:
Version: 000.101.000.000, Zip file, 25.30 MB, Date published: 2008-03-20
When i downloaded it and put it on TV there is showing that GENERATION DATE IS 16/12/2007.
Now on my tv is that software:
JX31E-0.101.0.0 (RELEASE FOR 3RD SPIN), GENERATION DATE 16/12/2007

Generation date = Software compile date
