AW9000 software upgrade
Philips service center have sent me a new AW9000 device after my previous one suffered a firmware crash.
The new device has firmware version 4.55. The device is connected to the internet through an ethernet cable.
When I try to update to the current version, I receive the message: Current firmware version is: V H4.55. This is the latest firmware.
Furthermore, when I push the internet radio button, I receive the message: This folder / playlist is empty.
Has anyone an idea?
Thanks in advance.
may I kindly ask you to send me a private message with your product registration ID (your email address) and the MAC address that is either printed on the label on the product or displayed in your settings? Once recieved, we will investigate this issue.
Thank you very much.
I have sent you a PM.
Try searching for a radio station?
Maybe it needs something to start with?
Please read earlier message: "when I push the internet radio button, I receive the message: This folder / playlist is empty"

Volume, according to the manual, it's white. I said blue, meaning white. The device is connected to the network. I already have tried to reset the device as you have described.

You can play music within local network, it is possible.
Sorry I have no clue, maybe good to try your internet access:
1. Can you access internet page by PC or smartphone (believe that works)
2. Power reset the router or modem
If the issue is still not fixed, may need Philips staff here for help.
Everything works fine, this message is sent using the same network. I have tried rebooting the router/modem, the device and reset the device. There's one more option, connect the device to my neighbours network and see what happens.
To be honest, I'm getting a bit frustrated here.
we are investigating your problem and will let you know as soon as we have any updates.
Thank you very much for your patience.

Hi guys & girls
just wondered if anyone else experiences any feedback or squeal from there wireless Fidelios? I can hear this when the speaker is in standby and when playing audio quietly.
I do not experience any feedback or squeal in my aw9000. It just works fine.
