I've got a problem with my RemoteApp for Android. It finds my television, I can use it as a controller, but I can't use Simplyshare. It suggests that I should put on PC/Digital Media Renderer, but I already did that and it still doesn't work. The app doesn't find the TV to 'read' or 'play' the files on my smartphone.
This is my TV: 102 cm (40"), Full HD 1080p, DVB-T/C 40PFL5007H/12
Hopefully you can help me with this problem.
Is anyone from Philips reading this forum?
I'm having the same issue. I have the 47PFL5008K and the App installed in my phone. The App works as a remote, but SimplyShare only finds my streamer, and not the TV, so I can't push video to the TV. On the other hand, if I go to Network source on the TV, it finds my phone, but this is really slow and all the videos appear in one list with no thumbnails so it's hard to find anything.
Same issue for me!! Philips TV is 46PFL3208/H. Myremote App works as a remote and finds my Philips TV, but simplyshare does not work at all: it just keeps on searching for connected devices and does not find the TV device. The TV itself however finds the Android device ...
Please fix this isuue!
