Problem for Youtube 3D
In 2013 I bought a Philips 42PFL5028H12 Smart Tv. It works perfectly, im glad with it. I watched 3D on Smart TV on Youtube, I had no problems. But for a time I had no sense to watch 3D. After a while like 2 months, I had decided to watch again 3D on Smart TV. But this time it didn't work. It is like: I put the 2d to 3d conversion on, but when the movie starts ( on Youtube ), it put himself back to 2d conversion. Can anyone help me?
I've tryed the 3D on my PS3, it works pefrectly. So I think the problem is on the Smart TV.
When the movie starts on youtube, the first second is it 3D, but then I put him self to 2D conversion, and the 3D button wont work.
PS: Excuse me for my English, I'm from the Netherlands.
this TV does not support 3D in Smart TV.
We had this option enabled, yes but we had to find out that the Performance does not fit to our Expectations.
Fir of all, thank you for your reaction. So if I understand right, I cant watch 3D on Smart TV anymore?
Thats pity, because I think it had a great performance for my opinion.
But do you have a opinion to watch however 3D on Youtube from my TV?
that is corrct, no 3D in SmartTV.
Connect an external Device like a Blu Ray Player or an Philips HMP Device via HDMI to experience great 3D Performance also in Youtube.
Currently the Youtube application supports 3D videos but it has many bugs.
Do you test the Youtube application before release it to the consumers ?
the APP is done by the App Developer, which in this case is Youtube/Google.
I would assume that they do lots of test before they release a new Version.
Anyway, what exactly is wrong for you?
I've described here in my post:
In particular the 3D is working only for the first video played on the application. Then when a second video is started the screen begins to develop artifacts and the 3D effect is destroyed.
The next videos even if they are 2D are with artefacts too.
Not related to the 3D: after use of YouTube, the TV channels that use Auto Fill function for the dynamic aspect ratio have some blinking violet lines on the bottom of the picture (on DVB-C input).
I wrote also in Youtube forums about the problem: https://productforums.google.com/for...I/K19-7ZJZZGgJ
You can see here the answer of their representative Teresa_ in another thread (which is already closed): https://productforums.google.com/for...be/p9Ux8XLxvSo
So it seems that there's no hope for remote QWERTY keyboard controlled YouTube application.
