HDMI Audio Cuts Out 55PFL5505

Hi Recently bought a Phillips TV model 55PFL5505. I have connected my HD Cable Receiver to the TV via an HDMI cable however, after at random periodic times, the audio feed gets very distorted/scratchy. It last for roughly 30seconds and then goes back to normal. I thought it was the HDMI cable so I tried a new cable but the issue still persists. I then tried swithing to a different HDMI input slot, however, this did not solve the problem.

Has anyone ever had this problem and if so is there a solution?

Hi,

first try to update both devices to the latest firmware release. (for the TV see the webpage for version 140.37)
