Hi,
- install the latest firmware (current 14.99)
- can you watch the movie on your PC?
Please use the tool "Mediainfo" to examine the MKV (please use the text mode of the tool) and post the output.

And please, fix this x-talk. I converter my video form 2D to 3D (3D side by side depth 5 out of 50) and x talk is there. Awfull expirience.
I am very happy to find this support forum.
I own a 40PFL5507H/12
When I play movies over USB, the following 2 movies could not be converted from 2D to 3D.
1)
Video codec: V_MPED4/ISO/AVC
Resolution:1600 * 330
Frame rate: 29
Bit rate: 3326 Kbps
2)
Video codec: V_MPED4/ISO/AVC
Resolution:1920 * 800
Frame rate: 23
Bit rate: 14241 Kbps
What is the problem of those 2 video?
Lastly, is Audio Codec DTS core same as DTS ? Because my tv said DTS is not recognized.
I am looking forward for your help.
Hi,
3D via USB is only supported if the resolution is exactly 1920x1080. And furthermore, any DTS variant is not supported.
Toengel@Alex
Toengel, Thanks . now I am very clear that why some Movies can not change to 3D over USB.
Does 3D over USB support external subtitle? My movie shows subtitle (english) on my computer, but it does not show on the 3D TV over USB. Just want to confirm.
Hi,
subtitles are supported (SRT format), if the following applies:
- movie.ext
- movie.srt
=> subtitle need to be external
Of course, you need the latest firmware... ,-)

I have not read all the thread and do not know if it is menthioned before or not, but aint it any possibilities for Philips to support some download in 3D for trying on USB (or elsewere)?
Outside this thread, why does not Philips add a 3D demo movie to the demofilms allready added to the internal TV software?
