connect an external blu-ray drive/burner with 37pfl7605h

hi everybody,

i have a 37pfl7605h. i'd like to know if there is/will be a possibility to connect an external blu-ray drive/burner via usb to the tv? perhaps with a firmware update?

the TV will only support USB Mass Storage Devices like an USB Stick or an external HDD.
Optical Drives will not be supported (and do not work).
