Pin 8 on Scart input! does it works?

Hi,
I would like to buy the philips TV 46PFL8686K/02,
and I want to connect a videosource with 12 VDC switching voltage on Pin 8 to the scart input.
Can the TV automatically switch to the scart input, when I first looked over hdmi and switched back to hdmi
when the 12V voltage is off?
