PTA02 glasses and 46PFL9706

Can anyone (Philips must surely know) tell me…..

….will my PTA02/03 glasses (from my 46PFL9705) work with a 46PFL9706?

I realise that they will not support the dual player gaming option and that I will not need to use the transmitter as there’s one built into the 9706, but will the glasses actually work for normal 3D viewing such as 3D Blu-ray etc?

I know the PTA516 glasses work with the 9705 models. Does this compatibility go both ways?

I have received conflicting information from Philips customer support unfortunately and would like a definitive answer from Philips or someone who has tried them in this combination.

I own a 2011 model and pta02/03 21:9 are not compatible with 2011 models
