When this happens do you get anything appearing on screen such as the volume indicator?
If you get the volume indicator appearing then it may be an issue with the remote control sending out a command you have not requested, perhaps try removing the batteries from the remote and see if the issue still occurs.
If it does still occur then unfortunately it sounds like there is something wrong with the system, in which case I would recommend contacting your local Philips support for information on what can be done to rectify this.
