Software update of 8/12/2011
I have downloaded the new update of 8/12/2011 (000.140.044.000) for my LED TV 32PFL9705H/12 from the dutch Philips support page. According to the update instruction, I unzipped the file and copied the autorun.upg file to my USB-stick. If I try to update the TV software from the USB stick, I got the error message that the USB-stick contains no readable files, so does not start the update. If I check the downloaded zip file 000.140.044.000 the archive contains an autorun.upg dated 16-8-2011. This date is simular to the autorun.upg (as well dated 16/8/2011) that is packed in the zipfile of the former software release 000.140.040.000 (24-8-2011).
Is this causing the update problem? Does the zip file contain a incorrect (old) version of autorun.upg ?
I expect that the autorun.upg will have a newer creation date.
I think the autorun.upg in the dutch zippack is wrong because I downloaded the zipfile from the UK support page and that zippack contains an autorun.upg dated 21-11-2011. Please Philips can you include the correct version in the dutch zippack?
Same with PFL8605 update 140.044
Hi Toengel,
Same problem here for my PFL8605, on the Philips server the suggestion is made the new version was downloaded but inside the dutch ZIP (40pfl8605h_12_fus_nld.zip) still the old version upg file is present. The English version is updated now. Philips why ????
