It was fine before iOS5 update. Now it will go to ringer volume setting regardless when you set the volume. We have the ringer set to max so we get max volume when ever we get a call or text. This happen to iPad2 as well. Any suggestion?
PS. I got iOS5.01 on both iPhone & iPad.
Did you try a hard reset on your iPhone? home and lock button til it turns off??? Maybe this will help?
Tried all different boot & setting, nothing works. Used a friend iPhone with iOS 4; works fine. Just not compatible with iOS 5.

i m using iphone 4S with iOS5.0.1 indeed
called philips and they said since my device 8550 is 2010 product and it's not quite upgradable (same case as 9000 i suppose)... hence, nth we can do...
now i just live with it as it s of some price...
but it really scares me up every morning.
