Latest V1.38.10 software release for related Product Models:
- HTS3251/12
- HTS3541/05
- HTS3541/12

Also looking for this update for my HTS3541/79. Can't use any of the audio inputs for getting surround sound from TV, STB, Xbox, WDTV because of this stupid audio delay (audio comes after video). No issues watching from USB drive or DVD/Blu-Ray.

another user bluevoice experienced similar issue and he managed to solve it through sound settings.

Hi kwinnie, unfortunately that solution will not fix this issue. Philips have already confirmed va email that this is an issue with the model itself. They have released firmware ( V1.38.10 ) for several regions / countries, but not one for mine (australia). On another tech forum, some consumers with this model have used the firmware intended for Polish users to fix this issue and its worked. However given that doing this may cause other issues, I'm waiting for a version of this firmware for my specific region. Given this issue seems to affect all models regardless of region, I'm hopeful Philips can replicate this fix to our region(s) quickly.

Hi dears,

I'm having the same problems with the Audio Sync Adjustment, when the sound is redirect from the Digital Air TV to HT, the delay is up to 2, 3 secounds.
Now I'll try to send a email to Philips Brazil reporting this issue, hoping that a 1.38.10 version to my HTS3541/78 comes and solves all this problem.

Hi kwinnie, my storke number is /79.

I received an email today from Daryl in Level 2 support saying they are communicating with the development team to have this issue fixed as soon as they can.

I'm from India, (product here is HTS3541/51) and the latest update is this -

hts3541_51_fus_eng.zip, English
Version: V1.41.00, Zip file, 51.29 MB, Date published: 2012-01-20

This update has fixed the audio sync issue, but the speaker sound test (where you can hear a distinct sound from each speaker) has stopped working! But when you play from a disc, or other inputs the sound is fine. Otherwise I have found no problems, you can test the speaker sound by putting a 5.1 test file on a USB and playing that.

Im planning to buy this system in india.
Can u give me your opinion about its sound quality and output bcoz im a bit apprehensive aboit the 300w output.
Will it be sufficient for a 14x14 foot room?
How is the subs performance?
Are you facing any other problems with this system?

Hi Pratik... if your budget is round about 12k INR then I would say go for it, but if you can stretch it to about 20-25k I would say go for a higher end/more powerful system, especially considering your room size.

Also you have to consider if you need a blu-ray player, if you don't need it/already have it an AVR with 5.1 setup might be better suited to your needs.

Hi, I am from Italy, and I have a HTS3541/12 with firmwave version 1.28. I tryed to upgrade firmware (with 1.41) but hts says that firmware version is uncorrect. My serial number is "kx1a1140918173"
