picture freeze and completely blocked bdp

I am so sorry, but here we go again

So, I've been trying the BDP9600 for about 2 weeks now and on at least 4 occasions the player completely blocked during playback.

It happened with the blu-ray of District 9 and on 3 other occasions during playback of differents dvd's.

The image freezes, there are some violet coloured blocks in the image (on 1 occasion accompanied by a loud whistling sound) and the player does not respond to anything. I have to disconnect the mains cable. µ
When I reconnect it it starts up normally and works fine.

Is this a mechanical problem ?

I am close to desperation.

hmmmmm, there are some discs, when played, it will be some stuttering problem/ hang problem or so.
i personally (i m a owner of bdp9600) seldom experience the block you mentioned...

just see if that s a disc problem or a file problem first
