Auto switching from 2D to 3D

What should I do, that a TV can to recognize automatic 3D movie from HTPC and switching from 2D to 3D?
I have HTPC (http://www.xtreamer.net/ultra/) with HDMI 1.4a output. I use TotalMedia Theatre 5.

Hi igor,

Automatic detection will only work with bluray discs. Mediafiles such as MKV and wmv you have to turn it on manually.

Hi, do you have any idea why I can switch to 3D on some mkv but not all? Actually I have a SBS mkv but when I try to enable 3D the option is disabled/greyed out?

Hi,

3D via USB works only, if the resolution of the movie is EXACTLY 1920x1080.
