ECD version of SW v1.42 available for BDP7600

System Software Version: 1.42

Can you please tell us what ECD version means? Is this an improved version over 2012-01-26 version and if so, where can i download it?

ECD = Electronic Content Delivery

This means that this update is provided via the integrated update mechanism in the player itself. No difference to the ZIP file on the download servers.

Thank for the info you Alex; i already was afraid it was something like that. Rather pity that Philips distributes a Firmware per ECD that almost cripples a BD-player.
