40 inch tv 6060H with external expeakers (5.1)

Hi.
At first, sorry for my english.

I have a 40 inch tv 6060H which I have connected to a DVD piooner with a 5.1 system sound. The dvd plays movies perfect and the sound is pretty, But when I try the TV sound to pass through external speakers the TV always says me: Error to connect to the external speakers.

Someone can i help me? I have tried a lot of combinations with the diferents outputs of the TV.

In the manual I dont see nothing about external speaker connection, which are the sound outputs to make work the 5.1?


note: the DVD player only has connect 3.1, the back speaker are not connected, but the dvd sound without problems, whenever the tv dont recognize them.
