Hi Jerry,
Simplyshare app is not for TVs. For TV you have the MyRemote app. For TVs of 2010 onwards it will show the Simplyshare tab inside for older TVs (e.g. yours) it won't as they are only DMP certified, not DMR.

did you installed firmware 26.78? Did you see the "jointSpace enabled" logo? Is your MyRemote device in the same subnet as your TV?

you have a 2009 TV. These 2009 TVs only support DLNA 1.0 (where 2010 and later support DLNA 1.5). So, you don't have all the functionalities...
