Soundbar HTS7140/12 too much Bass

Hi,

I have the Philips 55PFL7606H with the HTS7140 for some time now.

The combination is almost perfect. The only issue i have is that the bass sound of the HTS7140 is too much.
I have set the lower sound setting to -5 but still I can feel the bass on the couch when setting the volume level to 30.

Is there any way i can reduce the bass sound some more?

I am currently using firmware V54.

One would say this all depends a bit on where placed, what surface, surroundings etc....
