I'm having the same problem here, with my 2PFL3507H/12: subtitles are 'old style'; in white scenes it is very difficult to read them. A black border would be a simple addition. It would be nice a little bigger subs also, like it happens on LG models...
Will a firmware update be released soon with these improvements?

Mods, (Mark, Thomas) any updates in regard to this? I really wish I could have better subtitles.

I completely approve this request. Subtitles are really small, and have black background. Please, change it guys, if possible.

I have same problem with 32pfl5606/58. subtitles are white with no black shadow. Its a serious issue.
