I have a Philips 37PFL TV and Philips DVP3600 DVD player. All works fine when DVD playing. However, when I switch to watch TV there is no sound. I have the scart cable from TV to UPC digital box and DVD scart cable to UPC digital box.
Any ideas?

Hi Michael.
First of all welcome to our forum.
Could you please state the model number on you TV?
What is the software version in your TV?
The sound loss you're experiencing, how often does this happen? And does it happen if you jsut watching TV and not DVD first?
Best Regards
Benedickte
The model number is:37PFL5405H/05
I do not have software version.
When I watch a DVD the sound is fine. When I watch TV there is no sound. When I remove the DVD scart and plug scart in or swap the 2 x scart cables then I have TV sound.
Hi Michael.
Thank you for quick reply.
You can find your software version by having your TV on ( watch TV not in a menu), and pressing 1 2 3 6 5 4 on your remote control.
When you have sound through TV after switching Scart cables, do you have sound through DVD

I can't get software as per your instructions. There is "no video signal" if I keep scarts connected. If I swop scarts around I can watch DVD with sound and TV without sound.
Have you tried to change the scart cable you got on the UPC digital box to the tv for a new one ?
You can also find Software version by going to menu-> settings , use arrows and go all the way to the right. Find Software settings, current software version and press OK.
