My wife is desperate, when i sitting in the kitchen, and i change channels or volume tv on laptop tv (tv is in another room:D)
Hi,
I'm facing the same issue: When trying to play an album, it plays only one song. After that playback stops. I'm using a HTS 9221 as playback device.
Inside the myremote app / simply share the player restarts the song every 9 seconds while the song plays on my HTS.
I hope somebody can help us here. So far any of the apps (myremote / simply share / airstudio) behave the same - and are therefore completley useless.
HTS firmware and Apps are up to date.
Thanks
Hello
I have a 32PFL4007H/12 TV. The software MyRemote can't find the TV and crash. WI-Fi is ok, work well in the smart TV. Soft version is Q554E-0.96.0
Here is the crash log of the MyRemote app running on iOS 6.0.1

What can I do to fix that?
NSInvalidArgumentException means you've passed bad data into a method. Frequently this means you've passed nil as an argument that doesn't allow nil. The exception description should provide more information as to what method/argument is bad.
Regards,
MyRemote does not work for me either.
I have a 6xx7 model with firmware 150.82 installed (updated this morning).
I have the latest MyRemote app on an iPhone 3GS with iOS 6.0.1.
My Philips TV is connect by WiFi and is detected by the MyRemote app, but I cannot:
- watch TV on my iPhone - it waits indefinitely
- SimplyShare doesn't work. A message box first shows up "gallery_disabled_title" "gallery_enable_message", I press the OK button, then SimplyShare is stuck in the "Loading..." phase. Sometimes the message box is not shown, the Music folder is quickly displayed then disappears as the app enters the Loading... phase, waiting indefinitely.
I have rebooted my iPhone and restarted the TV, to no avail.
You cannot watch TV on your phone.. With watch TV you just manage your TV, using your phone as a remote control. You say your TV is detected: so tick the TV icon on your phone and you'll get several pages of remote "controls" on your I phone screen
Have you installed a media server on your 'puter? Philips has the free "Twonky" media-server available; you'll find it on the Philips registration website.
TIP: Some hardware- routers have a built- in media-server. If that's the case with your's (I'm successfully using AVM's Fritz!box), you could use that too as per the instructions that came with your specific router.
We are supposed to be able to watch TV on an iPhone, I think you are mistaken Racker. See the following link:
http://www.philips.co.uk/c/my-remote/298826/cat/
"Be free to move from your living room to the bedroom without missing a second of your favorite TV program. With Wi-Fi smart screen*, you can swipe the TV program you are watching to your iPhone® and iPad® and take it with you, anywhere in your home."
I have a perfectly working DLNA media server installed in my place, fully functional, and that the TV can use.
But I miss your point. I don't see how that can explain the app is stuck in the "loading" phase.
You can, according to how MyRemote is advertised. Look at the following page
http://www.philips.co.uk/myremote
"Be free to move from your living room to the bedroom without missing a second of your favorite TV program. With Wi-Fi smart screen*, you can swipe the TV program you are watching to your iPhone® and iPad® and take it with you, anywhere in your home."
Hello Martytv,
I'm french too, so feel free to contact me via MP (I've exactly the same configuration as you have).
It takes me long time to use MyRemote and DLNA feature on my philips but today, everything works fine. I'm on mac and using tvmobili to stream files to the TV.
So first, for the MyRemot app, I had the same issue (gallery_ message). Please be sure that MyRemote app has access to your photos and video (réglages>confidentialité>photos). Reboot your iPhone and try again.
If it does'nt work as well, I success by uninstall and re install the apps. It asks me to autorise the geoloc (I don't know why). Now it works for me (pictures, videos, etc).
Regarding the Smart Wi-Fi feature, be sure to be on a numeric TV chanel (TNT) (It does not work with Freebox or livebox chanel). I've never tried that feature but the message is prompted when you launch the Smart Wi-Fi logo.
Hope this help,
Hello All,
On my side, I have issues with my video orientation. Some video took with my iPhone are 180° turned (upside down). It's weird because on the preview app, all is fine. I've done a test with 2 videos in upside down my iPhone and the upside down video is on I took on the right orientation on my iPhone (Volume button to top).
I checked the réglages>confidentialité>photos setting and Photo sharing is enabled.
I successively uninstalled the app, rebooted the iPhone, reinstalled the app, restarted the TV, and restarted the app. It still doesn't work.
I can control the TV, which means WiFi works fine.
When I press the watch TV button the app freezes.
SimplyShare has the same symptoms: "Chargement..." (loading in French) stays on screen forever.
One thing I would like to mention is that my iPhone is not jailbroken and I updated it to iOS 6.0.1 recently (with the return of GMaps).
My setup is "clean".
SimplyShare uses the DLNA server of the TV. I have the issue too (Sometimes only, that's why it's very very weird).
I launch MyRemote, on the first page I have on the top Philips TV and when I click on it the IP adress is good. I click on control, everything is fine.
I click on SimplyShare (humm "simply") and at the botton of the screen I have the "finding remote TV" (recherche d'appareils de lecture). Unable to connect to the DLNA server (1900 UDP port is open).
Please philips, help us to diagnose this problem (and please change the topic tittle with the actual version of the apps 3.12)
I am in the same situation! I have a new 7007 & I am unable to get the Mobile Link Code. I have set to get the guide from the Internet but when I select guide & press yellow it just takes me to the recording screen, exactly as above!
How do you get the mobile link code for IPad from a new 46pfl700t in the UK????
This has been answered by Toengel:
As for your next question:
I'm not sure what you're asking here... Did you mean to say you're looking for the I-pad app?? That's available from the "normal" appstore: search for "Philips" and download/install "my Remote"from there. Success! :)
You have completely missed the point! Of course I have the IPad app! The problem appears to be specific to the UK.
Here we are unable to get the same IP based EPG as elsewhere. We therefore cannot get the 4 digit code to link the TV & IPad.
This is necessary to enable the EPG to be displayed on the IPad. A part fix is possible if I reinstall the TV telling it I am in Germany. It then becomes possible to get the code. Unfortunately it also totally confuses the channel list!
Philips themselves need to resolve this quickly. I am less than impressed that such a premium product is being sold without adequate UK support.
