No sound when playing from dvd recorder

When playing from my Pioneer dvd recorder DVR-545H on the Philips 46PFL9704H/12 tv i have NO sound!

The recorder is connected with a scart cable in ext1 on the tv. With any other tv it is working fine, but not on this LCD/led tv.

Please help!!

Welcome to the forum,

Since you already tested the cable on other TVs, the scart port of your tv could be damaged, something we couldn't confirm without physically inspecting your television.

Just in case could you please try to connect the Dvd recorder through the RCA port, using a composite cable?
