I recently bought an 8GB GoGear SA060 player. I know how to create a 'playlist-on-the-go' but how do I import my own playlists into the Playlist folder on the device? I've created playlists with Windows media Player, but the Philips device does not recognize the .wpl playlist file extension. I converted the playlist to an .m3u file but still not recognized by the player. Any advice appreciated, thanks.

Could this be the same as what users told for other thread: If you navigate the MP3 player to MUSIC and then select PLAYLIST is will work. This player does seem to support m3u playlist but you cannot use them in Folder view.

Thank you Oscar for the suggestion, so I copied the playlist .m3u files into the same folder as the music files (which are on a 16GB micro SD card) but the playlists are still not recognized by the player.

What is the exact format of your file, please give all info (bitrates etc) to see if its supported by the player
Hi Oscar, all my music files are mp3 with a bitrate of 128 kbps. They are stored on a 16 GB micro SD card, which shows up as a separate drive under the Philips player. I just drag and drop files from windows explorer. All files have been tagged with title, album, genre and track number using a program called 'Mp3Tag'. They all appear on the Philips player and I have no trouble playing them. I'm not too bothered if I can't make my own playlists, but on page 25 of the Instruction Manual it explains what the various folders in the device are for: "Playlists: for playlists that you transfer to SA060."
