Donīt see this with my s+ to be honest....
What is a long delay?
Hi Oscar, the length of delay is totally random varying from 10 seconds to 1 minute with the s3 and instant charging with my HTC Desire.
So only with the S3 then since I tried it once with my S3 and that went well.....strange...let me recheck
Looks like you are right
Hi, how long does it take before your telephone actually is completely charged? When you use your normal wallplug maybe two hours but on the docking how much.... ?
I mean it is a docking station not a telephone charger (although this is an extra but not the main functionality of this device).
Not sure how long it takes to charge as I dock it at bedtime ready for the next day. The length of time to charge is not an issue for me, it's the length of time it takes for the phone to recognise it has power supplied and to start charging. The reason for this is that I use the app tasker which I set up to automatically switch on BT, change wallpaper, set brightness set volume etc when plugged in. So any delay in charging results in a delay in activation of taskers profiles.
Dear users,
- If the mobile phone is switched on, charging starts in about 2 minutes after it is docked.
- If the mobile phone is switched off, charging starts immediately when docked.
This is due to hardware limitations.

Thanks for the info, so this is down to some curious qurik of the s3. I would love to know why as normal chargers are instant!
