Smart TV via home cinema set?

Hi there,

My 40pfl8007 is connected via HDMI with my Home Cinema Set (Harman Kardon BDS470). My Home Cinema Set is connecten via HDMI with my Ziggo digital receiver (Cisco). As a result, digital TV and blue ray/dvd can be played via the speakers of my Home Cinema Set. However, Smart TV (for example: YouTube) can only be heared via the (internal) speakers of the TV. Does anyone know how to make Smart TV heared via the speakers of my Home Cinema Set? Do I need extra cables (and where do I connect them) or can this be done via settings on my TV?

Hi Ralf

I can see your Home Cinema Set is ARC compatible. I would advise you eneable this function on both the TV and Home Cinema Set.

To enable ARC on tv :
1. press menu button(house)
2. Go to setup, press OK
3. Select TV settings > Sound > Advanced > HDMI ARC.

You can also use an optical to connect these 2 devices for sound out from TV.
