Dear All,
Does anyone use alternative apps on the smartphone for his/her streamium device, other than the Philips-recommended software? I only use the Philips app for Android, but since Streamium is DLNA supported concept, maybe some other apps are usable also?

Well, it does work. But it's not very stable.
Ie. when I scroll through the files on the HDD the app quits 8 out of 10 times. I have tried Twonky mobile, and it works way better. But with that app I don't have full controll of the MCi, only the regular play-pauze-skip functies (but can't switch to internetradio for example).
Is there btw also a possibility to use a wired connection to stream from (for internet radio), but still have control via WiFi on my phone? I guess it's either connection by wifi or by wire....
