32pfl6007 - xbox - hdmi
I've bought a brand new slim xbox and a brand new Philips 32pfl6007 full hd tv. The connection is ok if the xbox is connected via scart to the tv, but when I connect the xbox via hdmi to tv, the xbox doesn't start, the controller just flashes and tv says no video signal.
What is the missing point? What am I doing wrong?
when connected via SCART, try to set up the XBOX to a low resolution (or Auto) and then connect via HDMI...
Does it run? Could really the problem be involved with the hdmi resolution negotiation?
I have the same problem, I can't see Xbox (also a Woxter multimedia center) via hdmi, maybe the problem appeared when I swapped the hdmi ports, I don't know....
If problem is how TV negotiates hdmi resolution, is there a way to change it in the TV?
had a similar problem with a xbox360 slim, when connected through hdmi, the xbox wont start. on my side it was a problem with the xbox, have sent it to ms to replace with a new one, now it works.
XBOX does work fine with me, with resolution setting 1920x1080. At least you have to select a resolution at the XBOX which is supported by the TV.

Via this way you are sure the HDMI cable is good.
Are there bad HDMI cables? Yes, my first HDMI cable only worked on low resolutions. When I tried higher resolutions I got message NO VIDEO SIGNAL.
Yes, I'd like to strongly support this: there are *a lot* of bad HDMI cables around:
