have you tried to reboot your units and even your remote?
To reboot your remote get off one battery. Maybe you have to change them and use a set of new batteries.

download the iso of GParted, burn the iso to a cd and boot your computer from this cd. Then you should have access to the music folders.
Any Windows doesn't work.

don't try to rip too much cds at once. When you have recorded 10 cds wait until the process is finished. Then start ripping the next set of cds.
