On the official FW-downloadpage is still only FW 140.45 from 2011-12-19.

I compare the two firmware again (44 with 40).
Besides the problems with the sounddrops by HDMI inputs, I think the sound (its saturation) from main tuner is much worse. I mean, the FW 44 is faulty.

logical, since you update from 40 version to the 44. But when you try from 44 version to update/downgrade... - you'll see ;)
