if you have a xxpfl6xx7/7xx7/8xx7 or 9xx7 just turn off quick start, that should do it, if not, disable easylink and try again
you can use wifi media connect, just run it in windows 7 compatibility mode
should work but you need to make sure that the files are at least 720p.
the resolution MUST! exactly be 720p or 1080p

2 options:
1st you play back files via usb with an externla subtitle file (srt)
if so, you dont have any chance, you need to look for another device to play back the files, like a home media player...
in the tvs you dont have an option to do that but on other devices like their hmp device you do, you can do whatever you want with the subtitles, so you can wait for an update (which will never come)...
sorry bro but external subtitles can not be used on this tv. maybe you can llok for an external media player like the philips hmp devices they can use subtitles

hey, yes there is an browser available and yes you can connect a mouse/keyboard, last one only on newer tvs.
but remember, you can not install any add ons to that browser like java or flash!

when you say that the laptops does see the nas, where in the laptop you see the nas?
the 3517 is dlna1.0 compliant, so this does work as long as the nas has a build in "dlna" server
this is a 3d blu ray only. there is another blu ray which has the 2d version.
