Just tried to see if the problem lies with the 'USB -> optical out' connection. I played a W7 video sample (Wildlife in HD.wmv) from USB. That plays fine WITH SOUND on the optical out!

So...

I forwarded that question to the supplier...

But forgive if I don't see the point. The 3D movie sound plays fine when I use the TV-speakers. The converter works fine, when the TV gets its input...

I wasn't aware that there were different types...
