I had the same problem, see RTL XL: videos dont start, for me it was in updating the firmware using a USB stick. The internet update was lying to me that it was up to date while in fact it was not!

Even though TV's get more complex every year, I think one of the things that seperates a Great manufacturerer from just a good one is the ability to deliver products that work out of the box....
