you're right. The Amazon UK product description is wrong. It's Amazon, you can easily return it. The BDP3300 does have DLNA/Simplyshare. Check out the user manual (page 14)...

BDP3200 does not have DLNA.

Btw. WiFi Bridges are much better e.g. Netgear WNCE2001.

The 3280/12 I use can read NTFS-formatted USB sticks. ;)

Well, ts works fine, bdav works fine too, except for most of the german tv stuff (bdav container (m2ts) = avchd, blu ray format).

I figured out a couple of things:

- the 3280/12 is able to play Main@L4.0 content
- it can play AVCHD/BR files from usb drive
You have to create a folder "AVCHD" to root of USB flash...

I recorded many videos from german television with my dreambox.
When I put the ts-files onto a usb flash drive or burn them on DVD/Blu Ray (data disc) everything plays fine.
MKV works fine...
