the problem you are having it the same lot of pepole had with 9705 and only way to fix this problem is avery few night
you have to turn the tv of by the swtich or pull the power plug if this...

when are we going to see new update and is philips going to fix the poor pictuer quality if not im going to sell it and buy the panasoinc st50

the part showing from casino royale.i seen that from day one on 9705 wich it has been two years now and over 20 updates and no fix i dont think there will be a fix for that aver

@freddy the only time i have seen sr working is on freeview hd or sky hd never seen it work on bluray and with new firmwear it dosent work as well as old firmwears

you are right after 0.40 the picuter got bad and down grading to older firmwear it dosent help on my tv. i think there was a bug in 0.40

have you guys gev up making updates for 2010 tvs as it has been over 4 month sence last update

cant buy the 516 here in uk any more they are selling the 517 now

week 46 and up from what i rember

that means your tv is week 38 with old hardwear and old stand by softwear the only way to fix the 3d crosstalk is by changing them things you can ask philips to change it the parts and softwear

using the pta516 on my 46" 9705 no problem with crosstalk at all but with my old 9705 week 40 to much crosstalk what week is your tv

still no new updates how long do we have to wait

its ok coming on this forum and saying this and that. it dont make any diffrence to philips becuse they still selling tvs and there are lot of daft pepole out there that will buy there poor...

its been a long time now sens we had a good firmwear for pictuer quailty the only ones scored 9 out of 10 was 0.23 and 0.25
and that was over year ago.looks like we not going to get a good update...

any news on softwear updates for 2010 tvs or have they stop making updates for them

i dont have such problem with my 46/9705 but like i say on mine it fails to dimm backlighting at times and gamma shift

i think the pictuer quailty its not bad with the new softwears how avere there is a problem wich the pictuer quailty its not stabel some times it dosent dimm the pictuer and gamma tracking is poor

there is lot of pepole on here now not happy with the pictuer qailty of the new updates but no comment from philips about this

peelaa thankyou for your findings now i no my tv its not faulty and its the poor softwear.thats why the pictuer quailty is so poor

long as pepole keep supporting there product by buying it they will keep shxxing on there consumers.stop buying philips then they have to change there ways
