Yes I mean especially the third list point and the remark for viewing videos.

If I use the described buttons then I see remark on the dcd8000 display like up down or select but...

I have also the same problem. I bought the dcd8000 2days ago and so far I am disappointed about the iPod iPad docking functionality. Its not working as advertised.

The Video output is not working...
